Yes, time flies and it's already December!
It's amazing to think how a year passes that quick ...
Ahh, whatever, forget it. Just an old man rambling.

Here we go. Mountain is the band I want to introduce to you this time.

They're big and intense, a great rock band that'll go down in history. I don't know why I haven't introduced them so far, but let me introduce the much-awaited, one of the best American Hard Rock Band of 1970's.

Getting toward the end of the year, it's cold every day, but I'll blow it away with my hot Rock Spirit!!
After a long interval, what I'm going to write about are these guys, KISS!!
Why!?
It's because this is the band my kid brother loved the most and was really crazy about.
He used to rock with me always, but he suddenly took off for another distant world.
So, this time, I want to introduce KISS with my thoughts about him!!

It's been a while, hasn't it! Let's jump right into the next long-awaited edition of "Rock CEO's: You gotta hear this!"
For the first installment of 2013 I'd like to introduce you to a French singer-songwriter that I just can't get enough of, Michel Polnareff. This man isn't just a musician; he's also a great artistic genius that created his own culture.

We're already at the seventh installment of "You gotta hear this!" For lucky number seven, I want to introduce one of the top five bands I feel a crazy emotional attachment to, a band that changed my life, Pink Floyd.
Pink Floyd is indeed most major bands of all time, but just how in the world did such a difficult and intricate band come to sell over 200 million copies?
My guess is that everyone holds an interest in the philosophical or in what is waiting on the opposite side of reality. The music of Pink Floyd is nothing if not surrealistic.

For the first installment of the new year, I want to start off with an album bright and sunny, just like the group's name itself - "It's A Beautiful Day."

"It's A Beautiful Day" is the self-titled first album by the San Francisco psychedelic group, and while the name itself is wonderful, the cover art is also really beautiful. I remember when I was still in middle school buying this album on impulse after seeing how great the art was.

At long last, we have the band I love to death, The Who.
Our band plays tons of The Who covers, and I even have their sticker on my favorite Gibson SG. Their work has had a huge influence on me.
While their popularity in Japan is laughably low, for the rest of the world they make up one of the three top rock bands of all time, along with the Beatles and the Rolling Stones (though some in America might put the Beach Boys in there as well). Undoubtedly a divine band.

Well, this is again one of my super favorites!
"Just For Love"was released in 1970 as the 4th album of Quicksilver Messenger Service, one of the 3 biggest psychedelic rock bands in America.

"Psychedelic" is one of the counterculture movements which had spread among youth in the late 60's when Vietnam War was becoming more chaotic. The hippie commune centering around Haight and Ashbury streets was especially well known. The music venue "Fillmore" had produced many artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Doors, Steve Miller Band, Santana, Iron Butterfly, Vanilla Fudge... Countless unique artists appeared at the time.
Among those artists, The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane and Quicksilver Messenger
Service are called the 3 biggest psychedelic bands which took their stands in the core of this movement.

I've introduced Valhalla-related albums so far. So for the third album, I'm going to give you the rock album that I never stopped loving all these years! Like I said in the first volume, the life changing switch hit me back when I was a fourth grader. The song played on the FM radio struck me. It was as if a bullet hit through my brain, vibrating me to the bones...

Well, here's the second album!!

Last time I introduced "Immigrant Song" from Led Zeppelin, the inspiration for the company's name. This time it's one of my favorite phrases: "Born To Be Wild"... which is exactly what it says in the title, so I'll be introducing this album!!

Here's a new series for everyone.
Here, I will be presenting masterpieces from the history of rock, which I love, selected based on nothing but my own interests.

Rock is the soul that flows in the veins of Valhalla Game Studios, and I intend to make that obvious in this series as well.
